Rancang Bangun Aplikasi Pemanggilan Pemadam Kebakaran Dilengkapi Navigasi Global Positioning System (GPS) Berbasis Android

Abstract

A firefighters or commonly abbreviated to Damkar is an army in charge of fires, rescue, and overcome disasters or other events. As a helper needed in the event of a fire disaster, but not infrequently contact the firefighters is very difficult. Many of the people are struggling because they find it difficult to contact the firefighters. And not infrequently also firefighters have difficulty to get to the point of location because it is not clear the location information provided. Therefore, the firefighters application is equipped with Global Positioning System (GPS) navigation to facilitate the community in carrying out a firefighters call in the event of a fire disaster or other incident and facilitate the firefighters to get to the point where they are intended quickly and precisely. This firefighters application is built using Android Studio and uses the Google Maps Api to display maps and routes from somewhere, using the Global Positioning System (GPS) to determine the position of the user who performs the calling right now. This research generates a server that can transmit information to the firefighters that there are residents who need their help. Generate an Android application that can make calls to firefighters and display map locations as well as provide navigation to get to the point of the intended location.
