Abstract

Intisari— Pada penelitian ini dilakukan simulasi deteksi benda dengan Ground Penetrating Radar dan
pengujian di laboratorium. Simulasi diawali dengan pemodelan senapan M16 dan lingkungan tempat
pemindaian tersebut dilakukan dengan menggunakan GPRmax. Setelah itu, simulasi pemindaian dijalankan
menggunakan GPRmax melalui Matlab. Simulasi dilakukan dalam tiga skenario. Pada skenario satu, step
antena GPR diset 3 cm ke arah sumbu-y dan 20 cm ke arah sumbu-x. Pada skenario dua, step antena GPR
diset 3 cm ke arah sumbu-y dan 3 cm ke arah sumbu-x. Pada skenario tiga, step antena GPR diset 2 cm ke
arah sumbu-x dan 2 cm ke arah sumbu-y. Data hasil simulasi dan pengujian lalu diolah menjadi citra A-scan,
B-scan, dan C-scan, dan dibandingkan. Hasil perbandingan menunjukkan telah adanya kemiripan antara
hasil pengujian laboratorium dengan simulasi.

Abstract—In this research, a simulation of object detection using Ground Penetrating Radar and a laboratory
test were performed. A model of M16 riffle was simulated using GPRmax software. Then, the scanning
simulation was then run using GPRmax through Matlab. The simulation was performed in three scenarios. In
the first scenario, the step of the GPR antenna was set to 3 cm on the direction of y-axis, and 20 cm on the
direction of y-axis. In the second scenario, the antenna step was set to 3 cm on the direction of y-axis, and 3 cm
on the direction of x-axis, in the third scenario, the antenna step was set to 2 cm on the direction of y-axis, and
2 cm on the direction of x-axis. The result data from the simulation and the laboratory test were processed into
A-scan, B-scan, and C-scan, and compared to one another. The result shows that there is a similarity between
simulation and laboratory experiment.
