Abstract

The VSAT box is a box that contains devices such as modem, PCU, and router with a size that is not too large and when it is used, all devices will automatically turn on. In this study, adesigned cooling system with Arduino Uno as a microcontroller, with a liquid cooling system with basic components such as a radiator / heat exchanger, reservoir, pump, hose, fan, water block and water coolant. The temperature produced comes from  a VSAT box made of aluminum, the box is a heat source medium that will be detected using a DHT11 temperature sensor. Then it flows through the outer layer of the water block and is absorbed by the coolant moving to the reservoir. With the help of a water pump, the coolant is moved to a radiator which has a cooling fan installed so that the heat of the VSAT box is absorbed by the coolant and can be removed. In this study, the resulting temperature decrease with temperatures from 35 to 30 degrees Celsius with a decrease in the range of 5 degrees Celsius for 4.21 minutes, a decrease in temperature with a temperature from 37 to 30 degrees Celsius with a decrease in the range of 7 degrees Celsius for 6.43 minutes, a decrease in temperature with a temperature of 35 to 30 degrees Celsius with a reduction range of 9 degrees Celsius for 10.06 minutes.
